Copper Porch Lantern + Found Friday Week 15

This week our copper lantern finally came in! We ordered it a couple weeks back, but due to COVID, it got pushed back a bit!

Elijah was working at the house the morning we got the call that the lantern was ready to pickup, so I drove it straight there & he immediately started installing it. It felt like Christmas morning! We were giddy.

Sadly, I had to leave before it went up, so one of his best friends, Luke, came over and helped out. Elijah face-timed me once it was up & I was squealing with excitement through the phone. They also sent me this pic…

We couldn’t be more thrilled with it. Even though you can’t see it from the road due to the raised porch ceiling, we knew it would still be worth it just for us to enjoy. Once we get the daybed swing hung, I’m sure the porch will quickly become one of our favorite places in May.

Every time we look at the little lantern that lights our porch, it’ll be sure to bring smiles to our faces. We bought ours from our local lighting store, Team Electric. However, I found the exact same one on Amazon here! It’s Coppersmith’s Conception Street Electric Lantern!

Found Friday Week 15

And now for the Found Friday Week 15 collection! This week’s finds are two of my favorite things to decorate with: vintage black and white prints & vintage cross stitches.

I’m such a fan of nautical prints, but it’s such a far cry from our old farmhouse that I’m not sure where I’d put this precious ship cross stitch! I can already see it in a little boy’s bedroom or a beach house…I’m in love with it.

And these black and white prints are my FAVORITE! I already saved a set for my house! My sister has a fear of birds so she can’t fathom anything worse, but I am in love with them, ha! Guess she’ll have to face her bird fear at our house….
